Our Events
The Friends of The Cleveland Orchestra enjoy a variety of events during the year such as Meet The Artist, Behind the Scenes Tours, and more.
Meet the Artist
Severance Music Center’s inviting 400-seat Reinberger Chamber Hall is the setting for individual or small chamber recitals. The music is followed by Q&A with the performers and scrumptious victuals and a chance to greet the artists in the Smith Lobby.
Alice B. Weeks Scholarship
The Alice B. Weeks Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually to a gifted Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra member who has demonstrated extraordinary musical ability and for whom music is a passion. The awardee has both the talent and drive to become a professional musician. The award helps to defray the costs of music lessons, summer programs and travel expenses. Originally funded by Mrs. Weeks’ family, the $1,500 scholarship is now funded by donations to FCO, including a May 2026 $750 Matching Grant challenge.
Volunteer
New in 2025-2026 was an expanded focus on FCO’s support of all the Youth Ensembles—the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Orchestra, Youth Chorus, Children’s Chorus, and Children’s Preparatory Chorus. The needs range from help with choir clothing to post-concert cookie parties to funding clinicians and soloists. Join us and help us expand our capacity to serve these remarkable young musicians.
